Anyone in/around Atlanta with aftermarket/modified exhaust free this Saturday (7/16)?
I will be in Cumming, GA this Saturday and want to hear some samples of aftermarket or OEM modified exhausts. I'm willing to drive around to a few spots - Buford, Alpharetta, Lawrenceville, etc - or will be heading back through downtown (headed southwest) on the way back. Anyone game?

i might be able to meet you somewhere near or north of downtown. what time did you have in mind? I have the ACM modded exhaust done by ACM in New Jersey before I relocated to Atlanta. Let me know.

Cool, I had been leaning towards the perforated exhaust mod but I'm curious to hear how loud the ACM is because there so many mixed opinions. My current plans will probably have me passing through downtown around 9:30 or 10:00 AM and then keep going towards Cumming, but the time schedule isn't set in stone or anything so I can meet early, before Cumming, or later after I'm finished (no eta on that, just playing it by ear, but shouldn't be too long).

Well my new semi-finished plans are stop by Markert in Lawrenceville around 9:30 or 10:00 AM and then go up to Cumming. So if you're an early bird I can stop by on the way 9:00~9:30 since it's not very far out of the way or I can swing back around in the afternoon.

I got it done at Extreme Performance Muffler, my go to guy for years. He may not do it for anyone because of the amount of work it involves, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I paid $400, and got it built while I'm out of town.

I talked to Alan at Extreme in Norcross few months back and he said it would be 10 hours of labor to do the mod.
I'll have to check with Markert, heard good things about them so far. |
