Car goes into limp mode when it's cold and do downshifts

Hey guys,

My car is a 08 with about 50k miles. I recently experienced that my car will go into limp mode when I blip the throttle and downshift, it only happens when the car is not fully warmed up. I went catless and changed my spark plugs recently, the car has not got any aftermarket tune yet, could catless be causing the problem or maybe it is the famous throttle actuators going out? Anyone has experienced the same?

Instead of guessing have the fault codes read and you'll have your answer.

Could be actuators or something else. It's not because of being catless unless there was an installation issue.

Something is wrong then... Limp mode will always store a code. I'd try a BMW specific scan tool or shop.
