Anyone know anywhere in the area who can fab up some decent exhausts that wont cost 50 million doll hairs?

Zury Fab in Elkridge is likely your best bet. My son just had an exhaust delete done by them for his E92. Quality of work is excellent.

Sweet. I'll give them a look. I'm only trying to get a Magnaflow X-pipe put in where the secondary cats/resonator is so I can free up some noise.

BMW not going to give two shits if you have downpipes. Honestly what could downpipes do to your car that would warrant warranty work? All they do is free up some exhaust and make it louder. Does the magnaflow require cutting/welding?

Well technically I think it falls under their warranty void type shit but, idk.

And yes, definitely requires cutting and welding. But not a lot.

Most dealers wont care and I believe the underbody plate of the car covers them up. So unless they have a reason to go poke around under there, no worries.

I just took mine in for 10k service, left the JB4 plugged in and even requested an oil sample to send off to BlackStone Labs. No issues.

Just make sure you're cool with your SA and maybe even try to meet the tech working on your car if you're going to wait for it. A lot of SAs are slammed with people and it's like just an informal assembly line filled with jackasses that want their oil change done immediately. He/She will most likely appreciate a decent convo and respect. Give some get some type deal.

Well, I haven't had luck in that department with Rockville so far. But I'm planning to pay a visit to silver spring here soon so, hopefully it's all good there. I'm just trying to make sure my ass is covered, is all.

Hi-Flow in Manasas is a solid shop. I've taken multiple cars to him for custom exhaust work and sent plenty of friends. Very reasonably priced.
