Baltimore shop for JB4 install
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good shop to install my charge pipes and my JB4 in my '15 M3. Anyone know any good reputable shops to get this done around the Baltimore area? I installed the JB3 on my old E60 530i but I don't have the time anymore and I don't have any space to work anymore as I live in an apartment complex in downtown Baltimore. Bonus points for a shop that will code for me also (lights, bluetooth, warnings, etc.). Thanks guys! Hworang00 |

This is America today... where no one is willing to pay for anything unless they absolutely have to. In 2002 we'd gladly pay $10,000 for 90BHP more on an E46 M3. Today a 100RWHP!! increase for $900 is a hard sell lol...

I also base my install helpfulness if you have a DCT or 6mt and if your mass fuel connector's clip is facing the driver side or on top
I've had a ROUGH few days since thursday last week. TBH, OP the temps are dropping and I dont think you'll get the most fun out of your JB4 until temps are higher. However, give me a week or so to chill and lmk about the above and I may be able to help you for a 12pk of Boh. I'm also right down the road from the Zenith... on President St. |

Haha, yeah I am a cheapskate. I guess it's how I was raised, lol. Thanks EALm4, I'm in the middle of finals for dental school so it probably won't be until after the New Year. Take your time. I'll probably give Induktion a call around then too.

Is your car 6MT or DCT? I cant promise hooking up the stage 2 fuel connector unless, 1) the clip is facing upwards or to the side (not facing down) 2)you have a 1 and 1/16" wrench. Mine was facing the driver side, which is the ideal position. I also do not recommend hooking up the stage 3 EWG connectors unless you plan to go balls to the wall map 7. Some people have experienced drive train malfunctions / engine miss fires when running map 7 and pump gas. While you can run map 7 without the EWG connectors, I'd only do that with minimum of 100 octane. Do you have the JB4 connect? I can also install that. If not, I can show you how to change the maps and whatever without it. I can probably do this in front of my building or in my parking garage with some flashlight help. Swing me a 18pk of coors light or something and we good. |
