Finally picked up my M3!!

For the last two months I have been worried about EVERYTHING. Will it be to rough, or loud or hard to control. But all those worries went away when I started driving it. It just such a capable and well made car! I used to drive a civic so i am blow away. Just hope it is ok in the winter with snow tires. Also I expected it to be horrible MPG, so far so good!!

PS: The only minus about the car is morning startup, I had my neighbors peak at me from their windows.

I LIVE for the morning cold starts. I explicitly put the engine in Sports Plus mode to make it extra loud

Don't care what the neighbors thinks

I wouldn't worry about the winters in this car. I drove mine daily last winter in Canada and did fine. I find ice and light snow situations are no problem at all. Really heavy snow gets a little tough but a few sandbags in the back helped out immensely.

Congrats OP, enjoy the ride. You have exceptional taste in having selected SSII and 18". Well done. I similarly came from a civic like car, the Acura Integra GSR. There was a gap of not having a car though, from 2009 through 2015. Motorcycles ran supreme during the car hiatus.
