New rotors look normal?

I just got new front rotors and brake pads installed on my car. I drove the car roughly 30 Miles Home and took a picture of both sides, do these look normal? What is that wavy pattern? I took a picture of the back rotor for reference which looks smooth and normal to me.

Totally normal. Nothing to worry about. The attached photo is from a brand new M2.

I see. On the way home I did like 7 hard stops from 60 down to 10 to try and bed the brakes. Should I do this again or just drive it normally?

Overthinking it. It's covered under maintenance and/or warranty.

Just wait until the rotors are actually worn out

I want to get the maximum performance out of them so I am wondering if I should try to bed them again. I thought I properly bed them but I am not sure if I should do the process again

You won't get maximum performance from OEM pads and rotors. That's not what they were designed for. Replace with aftermarket rotors and pads if you want much better performance on canyon roads, track, etc.

I meant maximum performance out of the OEM pads and rotors not that they are the maximum performance option available in the market. Sorry if that was unclear. I want them to perform to their fullest potential and have them last as long as possible. So I want to know if I should try to bed them again. Thank you

"bed them again"?? They're fine man. You can speed up and slam on the brakes all you want, it's not going to change how they perform.

The cross pattern you see on them is from the machining process when they're made, completely normal and will go away in a couple hundred miles (normally driven miles that is).

Sounds like you've already bedded them sufficiently. I wouldn't worry about it anymore.

One thing to keep in mind. Once I washed my car and it was parked for 3 days. The brake pad ended up rusting onto the rotor. It was stuck to the point that I actually had to give a good press of the gas pedal to break the rotor free from pad. I then had this rust build up on the rotor that caused vibrations when braking. Hard braking wouldn't get rid of it. I actually had to take the wheels off and sand off the deposits on the rotors.

This has never happened to any of the other cars I've owned.
