Eibach Springs and suspension geometry
Just wondering, BMW recommends a .5" drop in the front, the Eibach springs I've been looking at are a .87" drop, any downside to the suspension/handling with the increased drop, yes it's a small difference but is there a downside in terms of stability etc... More of a technical question, the reviews have been good so far...

Won’t it increase camber, which isn’t adjustable.

On a McPherson strut suspension lowering adds very little camber. Your lucky to get a coupe tenths out of an inch. That's the front of the car.
The rear is going to gain negative camber, but there is a factory adjustment and it can be aligned back or close to spec. Eibach is a mild drop, wouldn't worry about it. I have a set, just not installed yet. |
