M3 CS allocation

Pretty stoked to have dealer agree to hold my allocation for MSRP (3rd in line) as the first 2 will be sold over msrp. Put $5000 deposit to make sure they took me seriously.

I'm not entirely sure what the total cost is going to end up being but I'm pumped to finally get a stab at purchasing a limited edition bmw and to order it to my liking! Lime rock gray seems the obvious choice to me but who knows, I may change my mind.

Granted I'm a 6speed guy and it only comes in Dct which makes me sad inside I will most likely keep my F80 for daily driving and keep the CS garaged for those special occasions and hopefully it retains its value.

Anyone else get orders confirmed? I was told August delivery with final order being specd in May.

Congrats!

Purely out of curiosity, do you know how much over MSRP those first two sold for?

They haven't sold them yet. They're waiting for them to arrive so they can market them on the showroom.

I imagine 5-10k Markup initially

That's laughable. I don't believe many CS (if any) will be sold above MSRP. It is expensive enough as it is and not special enough to command a premium above MSRP. Your dealer will just have them sitting on its lot. They might as well have given you one of the first allocations.

I also have a July production confirmed, albeit for an M4 CS in LRG.

I agree. After exec package + carbon ceramics and LRG paint, it'll be pushing 115k + tax.

It's really a ridiculous situation to be frank.

I can get an individual Ferrari red m5 with full tartufo leather, CCB's and every option on the car and only spend 15k more than what the CS will cost.

The m5 will depreciate faster than it does 0-60 while the CS should hold its value quite well. Especially if held for an extended period of time.
