fixing paint chips/scrapes on the bumper
posted this in the wrong forum initially
just got some scrapes on my brand new M3, not sure who did it sucks what is the best way to fix these ? |

The attached screenshot is from a detailer in New Jersey and I can see that you're in SF. Just go on the regional sub-forum that's local for you and see if they are talking about this, if not, then start your own thread and ask. These bumpers are very fixable.

If it's just paint damage (ie no gouges in the bumper), use Dr ColorChip. Paint will match perfectly and the application process is an easy DIY. I've used it for stone/track chips on my YMB M4, it's amazing! The kit with paint and solution is around $65 with shipping.

I've used Dr.Colorchip myself on three different BMW's with great results on stone chips, it even worked very well on my Tanzanite. It will not, unfortunately, work on the gouge in OP's bumper as shown in the pictures. That needs a repair.
