M3 CS totaled during transit, but things worked out in the end

Sadly my new SMB M3 CS was most likely totaled during transit from dealer (NorCal) to me (SoCal) last weekend. All I know is the driver lost control of the carrier on highway and flipped alone with all cars on it. Insurance reported 38K worth of damage. Dealer said it is probably a total loss.

Ironically it is probably one of the best CS lease deal so far at $0 DAS (only MSD due), $664+tax/mo for a $110k car.

RIP my M3 CS that I’ve never even gotten a chance to drive…

More to the story,

I was able to find the exact same M3 CS at a local dealer. Contacted them and they matched my original deal. I thought 4/30 was the last day of lease support, so I went and picked up the car at a not as good but close enough price (since dealer mistake was involved in my last deal to get to that crazy number). Should have waited thou as lease support did not end and MF is even lower now...

Here is the exact twin:

About 22-23% before 4.5k incentives, hard to workout exact number as dealer did mocked up MF and didn't tell me how much. Yes 7x MSDs, only MSD due at signing plus shipping.

Crazy story, and even crazier lease deals! Would you mind sharing the name of the dealerships in NorCal and SoCal? and what kind of lease terms did you go with? 24/20 or 36/30?

It seems like M3CS lease deals over the last 2-3 months have been about a (friendly) competition over outdoing the last reported best deal...

This is one of the most cringey parts about the car buying process, especially if you're very particular about how the new engine is treated and yet dealers let people/employees abuse them without the future buyer even knowing. Then claim "the car is covered by warranty" as if that is supposed to make you feel better about spending your hard earned cash on a car that has been abused by some scrub while transporting between dealerships. The only dealerships that I've seen who take care of the cars prior to sale is Porsche and I'm sure there are some cunts in that bag too.

Yea I couldnt believe car could be totaled until saw the pic...
I went with 36/10k on both deals, but should have gone with 24/10k thou as numbers are better, I just thought 2 yrs could be too short to fully enjoy the car. Both dealers are out on the CS btw.

I'm actually not sure any more.

But they do send single drivers to deliver cars very often.

Sorry about the confusion, it was the carrier truck that flipped. At least that's what they told me, no police report or anything, so who knows what really happened.

It's my inability to read. No apologies necessary.
