Foam cannon??

When you use these do you spray the entire car? I ask because I take my time washing the car and if I spray the entire thing it will dry or spot before I wash the entire thing.

If spray only half, wash, rinse and then do the other side damn foam gets all over the other side.

Show me the way.

pre-rinse the car, foam up whole car, wash whole car = 15 min at most

then rinse and then dry = 15 min

then wheels = 45 min. LOL

Lol thanks man. I got 5 spoke Volks and dust less pads so the wheels don't take long at all. But I always wash the wheels before the car.

Yes I spray the entire car but it sounds like you're washing in the sun or when it's hot out which is the reason why you're having an issue. Try to get in the shade when washing the car, or try washing earlier in the morning, it'll help tremendously. Washing your car as quickly as possible to try to avoid water spots is where people speed up too much and cause scratches while washing so I'd honestly look into an ez-up if you're washing in your driveway.

Yeah I usually do it later afternoon when my driveway has shade but doesn't help that my car is black. I don't rush either hence why I asking how people were using the foam cannon because it seemed like I was going to slow to spray my entire car and wash it before any of it dried or ran off.

same problem....I just spray half the car wash it...then spray the other half. if it spills over so be it. I used to coat the whole car only the find the other side dry; but reintroducing soapy water from the buckets usually gets it going again.

Yeah my CS is Black Sapphire so I know what you're going through. If you're under the shade but the car feels really hot when you're starting a wash, then what I'd recommend is rinsing the car with cold water as much as you can so that the paint feels cool. If it's hot to the touch then water will evaporate and cause water spots faster. I would give that a shot and see if it helps give you some extra time.

dont wash it in the sun, or when paint is hot. That's an easy way to ensure you swirl up the paint

I usually foam twice because of the capacity of the cannon allows for it.

Foam, dwell

Rinse

Foam again

Two Bucket

DI rinse

Walk away, or blow dry

You might be able to get away with a one bucket as the car is already foamed up and all you need to do is rinse the mitt, but I always do a two bucket for piece of mind.

I have a client who does just this one his car, never even washes it with a mitt. After Modesta BC04, and 2 years, it looks amazing

you could use one bucket and like 1 mitt per panel.

WHOA, that's a bit overkill, but if you like that method, and have that time, more power to you!

I know some people have 3 mitts...color coded.
1 for the tops and horizontals
1 for the lowers
1 for the wheels
