Brake Pad Reccos?

Hi - Bought my car CPO with about 42K miles & maybe around 20% of pad left if I recall what the SA verbally told me. I've had squeaking for the past 2K miles or so & am guessing it's time to get new pads. I see tiny hairline cracks starting to form in some of the front rotor drill holes, but from what I understand this is not uncommon & not a reason to get new ones yet.

Planning to just buy new pads and swap them in, wondering if anyone has had experience & can recommend any brands? I've seen GenuineBMW, Hawk, Carbotech & Cool Carbon in reasonable price ranges.

Has anyone had good/bad experiences with noise or wear & tear that they can share? Thanks in advance.
