2018 Silverstone M3 "Oem Plus" GTS replica build in progress
Hello All,
I've had the car for almost a year now and finally posting. I've always liked taking OEM parts from the superior model and making a "OEM plus" look. I did that with my Gt2 inspired 996 Turbo and now would like to build this car to a GTS inspired M3. I like the CS a lot, but plan on using GTS parts instead or at least that is the plan today lol. The next parts to be added are the following: 1. GTS front spoiler 2. M performance HAS 3. Side skirts I'd love to hear feedback on the car and or build. Thanks in advance. You need all the cosmetics, rollbar, brakes... but you already have something the GTS never will, a manual transmission.

Go for it!
Was definitely a fun build - GTS hood, lip, steering wheel & acid orange theme (sans CCB)

Your car is EPIC!! It's tastefully done and fitting for the timeless name. I want to do the splitter and suspension first and then the hood eventually. If i keep the car long enough then probably wheels too, either BBS or HRE. The only thing i'm pretty sure i wont do is the CCBs or cage.

I just put on this exact shift knob. Man does it feel so much better than the OEM shift knob. Definitely get one, and the V2 steering wheel.

The GTS front is too aggressive for a stock M3. Might want to do that at the end with all aero, drop, wheels.

Get the black line tail lights. I just did and it looks great. Too bad they didn't make the GTS OLEDs for the F80.
I had an 03' 996 turbo Arctic Silver. What do you think is faster the F80 or the 996 tt? |
