Just like one shade off from Yas, haha. But if it is a legit key its worth about $40, as that is what they can be had for on ebay. Subtract $5 for someone having to peel that “interesting” cover off.

1st, that is totally a cheap wrap. 2nd, I thought keys couldn't be re programmed unless purchase new from the dealer with appropriate Vin. I doubt the dealer can just take any key and reprogram it. And where did did you pull that 400-500 dollar customization price? Sounds like the original owner paid 490 bucks to get a new key programmed from the dealership and decided to cover it with a 10 dollar case- hence your 500.
Show us some evidence that this is really custom by sliding out the physical key- cause you can't with a case on it, and give us a link that it is possible to reprogram a key that is already tied to a Vin

I think this is a troll situation. You can however take a used key and have BMW program to your car. I will reiterate that a used key can be had on ebay for $40. Brand new does not matter, unless you need the valet key re-cut.
