Hesitation on sport display gauges during WOT...

Anyone notice that's from say 3-4K rpm at WOT the sport display shows power building then stop and then start building again? The power level (I know not really accurate) slows building around 240ish.

Just an observation, wondering If I've got a charge pipe leak or something. Thanks.

What gear, DCT or 6MT?
I assume no tune.
Also what year M?

If your not feeling the forward pull, torque fall off. It’s just software and not a mechanical issue.

Stock, only watched in 2-3 and the car is a 6 speed.

I should note today I for a drivetrain malfunction and slightly longer than normal crank to start. Otherwise normal behavior.

I have a Veepeak arriving tomorrow to scan with Bimmerlink to read the code.

More questions, what throttle mode? Efficient, Sport or Sport+.
My first M4 was a 2015 6MT.

If your car isn’t falling on its face when you see the torque display stall, it’s bs display software.
Anyway, the torque / horsepower display I believe is to impress passengers not to be used as anything real.

Don't think I ever used the sport displays at all

Honestly it was the first time I have ever checked it out. I only bought the car a month ago. It's more of a curiosity.
