Grid guard cracking buckets
I lay them flat in the buckets. They only go midway down and end up splitting the bucket after a short time.
Any advice on how to avoid this? |

You're going to want the proper sized buckets. The white, no logo, buckets from lowes/HD meant for food prep are great for car wash buckets.

Post what Grit Guard you're using.
I have never seen a 5Gal bucket that varied from the standard size, so Im going to assume the placement is due to the actual guard itself, and they come in different shapes and sizes. |

Just bring the grit guard in with you when searching for a bucket and test fit it, thats what I did. I got 2 buckets from ACE Hardware (white one with their logo on it).
