Turkey Run for Charity 2008!
Date: November 16, 2008 (Rain Date 11/23/2008) Time: 8:00am Place: CHAMPION MOTOR GROUP - Bentley & Lamborghini Long Island 115 S. Service Road Jericho, NY 11753 In order to minimize chaos and confusion on the day of the event, we are asking that all participants please pre-register and pay prior to November 16, 2008. The cutoff for registration will be November 13th for pre-registration. We urge you to take advantage of this to prevent long delays on the event day. Please click on the link below and register for the event in advance. This year due to increasing costs the fee schedule will be as follows: 1 Car w/Driver - $120.00 1 Car w/Driver & Passenger - $240.00 Participation Fee Includes: Breakfast, Turkey Run Decals, Route Cards, Gift bags, Catered Lunch & More. The schedule of the event is as follows: 8:00am - Registration and Casual Breakfast 9:30am - Driver's Meeting 9:45am - Depart Champion Motor Group - Drive a tour of Long Island 12:30 -1 - Arrive at Catering Hall for a Delicious Lunch Raffles & Giveaways 3:00pm - Depart Catering Hall - Event has Ended Please be advised that a percentage will be donated to charity. This years Charity has not been finalized. We are anticipating cooperation from the NY State Fraternal Order of Police (NYSFOP) and will be provided with a police escort the entire route. Please note that this event is for Exotic and Sports cars only, not all cars are permitted to attend: No SUVs No 4 door sedans I know the price is hefty, but last year 150 cars showed including an Enzo, Carrera GT, countless Murcielago's, F430's and Gallardos, a few Gallardo Superleggeras, Vipers, Vettes, RS4's, countless Porsches, older Ferraris, GT3RS, Mustangs and above all BMW's This year there are already 250 cars signed up! I hear Sunday is supposed to be a nice day and I'm sure its one of the last. Even if you don't sign up get out on the roads on Sunday and hopefully you can check it out! |

Yes! I asked the guy and of course there are exceptions such as tuned e90's, M3 sedan, M5, CTS-V, IS-F and cars like that, he just doesn't want your typical, everyday type cars. Unless its a nice one.
