Wheel Identification - 343?

Hi does anyone know what kind of wheels these are. Are they replicas because I can’t find any info on them? They are 343M style but the size is 20x8.5.

Thanks.

Genuine M5 F10 343M wheels are 9J front and 10J rear with 10.5J rear for Competition.
ET is 32 front and 34 rear for the 9 and 10s.

Thanks for the info. By the way I’ve seen 601M competition wheels that come in a 20x9 front and 20x10 rear setup. I wasn’t sure why so I checked a bunch of window stickers and there was a lot of variety.

You are thinking of M6 wheels, M5 never came with 10.5

To the OP those look like a replica. Look for company brand marking on the wheel. This is picture of mine 343 when I took them off

Oh ok. Thanks crazyinp I was trying to buy some 10.5 and the person sent me these and disappeared off of facebook. Now I have to deal with the aftermath of that.

I would love to get rid of these asap since having them in my possession bothers me which is why I’m trying to figure out what they are. Thank you!

M6 it is then for the 10.5.
I think an option on the Comp were the cast alloy 601M wheels which were 9.5 and 10.5.

Those are exactly the same size and offset too.

The 601M seven spoke ones are cast alloy and heavier than the 343M's which are forged, therefore stronger and lighter.

I always use paypal (because I do sports cards) but unfortunately I used zelle this time. I’m mostly mad at myself for being naive because I didn’t think someone in the bimmer / M community would do that. I did file a dispute but we will see how that goes.

Yes. Mine came with the 601Ms. One of them was bent so I went with the 343Ms to hopefully prevent that in the future. Currently, only have the 9 and 10 versions though.

That's right according to info from crazyinp.
The wheel specs of the two types of wheel can be confusing with the M6 wheel thrown in also, so sticking to the 9 and 10's is correct for the M5. I initially thought that the 10.5 wheel was for the M5 Comp and I was wrong as it would stick out too much with the wrong ET.
GL with your refund claim for the pattern wheels you received.

All 20" M5 wheels, either 343M or 601M, are 9" and 10".
All 20" M6 wheels, either 343M or 601M, are 9.5" and 10.5".

That’s what I thought. Then I found these window stickers a while back. I remember seeing that maybe a bmw brochure was wrong a while back. Any reason to believe these window stickers are incorrect?
