MrGoochio's Car has FINALLY ARRIVED!!

My SA has finally e-mailed me this morning to let me know my car has arrived. I will be heading out to the dealership in a couple minutes to pick it up and snap some pics.

I'll be doing the prep myself so I will be doing a write-up on the process and experience including tons of pictures. Stay tooned!

(Specs of build in my signature.. first Jet Black/Lemon/High Gloss Black?) :roundel:

Doing prep yourself? How is that possible? I thought some of the prep included driving it a few miles and then hooking it up to a computer to make sure everything checked out? Or are you simply taking about the wash & wax?

I got my car, only two teaser pics for now as I didn't get to clean up the car yet. I'm pretty disappointed with the status of the paint, major swirls everywhere that I'm going to have to correct. They didn't do a detail but didn't follow my directions correctly to leave the plastic wrap on, etc. The car is super dirty and swirls are abundant.. Blatantly obvious directions weren't followed with half the wrap on and half the wrap off in the interior. Either way, the car is GREAT and I love everything about it. I'll be doing a write-up on my detail and follow up with plenty of pics

By prep work I mean prep work on the exterior/interior cleaning job. I tried to have them not touch it, but apparently they couldn't keep their hands off. Half of the protective material has been removed if not more. I see swirls all over the paint's surface, but that may or may not be their fault. Could have come that way from the VPC. In any case, I'll have to work extra hard to correct all the existing damage.

I'm not sure how they remove the cosmoline at VPC. Perhaps that's what's making it look like it has swirls.

Can I see a high res of how the gloss black door handle looks against the lemon interior? I dont think I've see Lemon and HG black trim together (kind of like this photo..)
