Did you get a final out the door price before you got a production number?
For those who ordered your car to be built from the factory, when did you get a total out the door price including fees and tax?
My CA said he will give me total price once BMW NA starts production on my order therefore providing the factory invoice price. (since I negotiated a certain price above invoice, rather than down from MSRP) What's been your experience in obtaining the OTD price? |

Yes. Everything was discussed up front and bottom lined before I placed my order. Negotiated for price above invoice as well.

Only thing not shown in my vehicle inquiry report at this point is Tax and $800 over invoice... this was presented to me right before production

I negotiated price before i placed my order. Once the CA said they could accept my offer of $1,000 above invoice, then i placed my order and deposit. CA faxed me a vehicle inquiry sheet with my options listed with MSRP price. Emailed CA and told him to fax me the final out the door price and he did next day. So for me, I got a production number and then a day later got the final out the door price.

I've just begun gathering quoutes for mine and each reply has included itemized fees (tax, tags, title) and total OTD cost. All I have requested is purchase price, so I have been pretty happy to see it all listed out for me.

Unless this is Soviet Russia where price chooses you, get the deal done first, then issue the PO to production.

The black and red andrenaline rush has finally made it home from Sebastian Olszewski and the group at Mike Smith Beaumont. Got it right before the big storm hit, as in 36 hours before. So lucky. Anyway, these folks are a great dealership to do business with.
