run of the mill tailpipe polish
Didn't know what else to title this.
I was wondering what products people recommend for clean all the black crap off my tailpipes on my E92 M3. Well I have my first car show on Saturday and I've kind of been slacking (and it's been raining) and I need something that will get all the black soot out of there and polish them up, but it has to be something I can just pick up any where as I don't have time to order anything (I think some people recommend P21s?). Otherwise it'll be a bit embarassing to have such a nice car there with filthy black tailpipes. Also I've heard/read something about steel wool, though I'm hestitate to use that. any ideas.

Thx, this is what I was looking for. It was raining but I tested it out on one of the pipes, it works pretty good, not sure how I'll get way down in there but it'll be way better than it was.
would this be ok to use on the 19" wheels?

NO! the wheels are clear coated, and using a metal polish would not work. use a paint polish if anything... by the way, you might also want to give 1Z chrome polish a try. look how it made these tips on a AA exhaust |
