synthetic wash/dry vs au naturale
Ive always used sheepskin mitts to wash, and a real chamois to dry....
about to pull the trigger onnew products for a new car.... id like to hear if you've converted from natural to microfiber, and why.... thanks |

A quality Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel will be less likely to leave ultra fine scratches in the clear coat than a chamois. No method is fool proof but this is the safest product I've tested for soaking up large amounts of water. The fibers are nice and thick, paint safe, satin edges and it doesn't create a suction like affect that can grind in contaminants. Let me know if you have any other questions.

thanks Greg..
what about a washing mitt? been looking at mf mitts, but i still think I like the sheepskin...dunno why. are the mf towels safe in the dryer? what about washing a paint drying cloth with an interior cloth with dressing on it. is it bad to mix the 2 during the same load in the washing machine? |

It's a really nice one too, soft as anything. Go figure.....someone said something about it trapping the surface contaminates and not releasing them into the rinse bucket, etc. I'm going to go with a cotton mitt.
