Washing your car...
So what does everyone use to wash their cars? My back always hurts from ice hockey, so I am trying to find a sponge on a stick or something so i dont have bend down too much or reach.
Maybe a sham-wow attached to a pole lol So what do you all use? |

After having used mitts of all types I'm now using grout sponges. Trust me, they work. Even better than ANY mitt I've ever owned including some God-awfully expensive wool mitts.
For drying I've been using a California water blade, which actually works as advertised and does not scratch or swirl the paint, followed by a Cobra waffle weave microfiber drying towel. A tip for everyone, do not use fabric softener of any kind wen washing and drying your detailing supplies. It coats the fabric and will cause streaking and it makes the towels much less able to absorb water. |

The shamwow is a sham! Microfiber or wool! But Vince's slap-chop is good quality, you can slap your nuts all day long.

I used to think that...but now I am a microfibre mitt convert! They work great. I have several on the go. Once for the top, one for the middel and one for the lower parts. Then my old ones are on wheel duty. I put them in the washing machine if they ever look at all dirty and they look brand new after a wash. You could not do that with a wool mitt. Plus they are not expensive so I don't hesitate to throw them out if they are looking at all bad.
