Polished and sealed

I got some water spots on my 1er so I decided to polish and seal it last weekend. As infuriating as the Jet Black can be to keep swirl free, the way it reacts to a simple quick polish and seal is fantastic. I used Menzerna SIP and sealed with Rejex. I usually finish with PO85rd but after using the SIP it looked so great that I just decided to skip it and go straight to seal. Notice the hood pic in the direct sunlight.....no swirls (at least for now!)

For comparison's sake, here's an old photo that shows the swirls that are so difficult to avoid:

I decided to get a "hand jobber kit" http://www.eshine.ca/customizable_ha...s_kit-1200.php instead of a porter cable polisher, I was worried about wrecking the paint with it.
I'm going to see how good of a job this thing does...it will be very hard I imagine with it.
I think its time to do a full polish, sealant and wax of the car soon. I had paint issues and BMW did a free detail job for me to fix this issues, so it might be time to keep it looking good.
Is car polish/sealant/wax fine for the rims since they are painted?
I'm using Poorboys products.
