Im looking for the best deal on a PC 7424, the catch is, it needs to get shipped to canada. The cheapest ive found is 150 including shipping.
it was here http://www.tools-plus.com/porter-cab...m_term=P-C7424 looks like it come with a polishing pad, but does that mean i need to buy the backing plate if i wanna use other pads? Let me know if theres anything cheaper out there shipped to canada. |

Take a look at the 7424XP, that's the improved version of the 7424 and it costs the same: http://www.tools-plus.com/porter-cable-7424xp.html |

To use the Porter Cable 7424XP Random Orbital Buffer you need to have the Lake Country 6" Backing Plate for Porter Cable 7424 - 148 mm. It simply screws in the buffer and it allows you to use all the other pads out there. I highly recommend you look at our buffer kits in our DI Packages section so you get all of the accessories you need like the backing plate, counter weight, pad cleaners and pads!
We also offer pretty good shipping rates to Canada through the USPS. If you want an exact shipping quote please just add the items you want to your cart and click checkout out to get a free shipping quote. Let me know if you have any other questions. Greg @ DI |

Greg, I've been using a PC 7424 with great results. Do I really need a counter weight above how the PC came? I got the smaller backing plate and pads to do head and tail lights. Works well there also.
