Clear Paint Protection Installation
I took some pictures while Julius Poa was installing the film on my car this past Saturday.
I went a little overboard with the coverage, but now the car is ready for action during the OH winter months... Enjoy! |

Great job! How much does it cost you?
It seems like he didn't use the precut kit and cut it himself.. Very interesting.

Coverage?
Whole front bumper, 1/3 of the hood, 1/3 of the front fenders, headlights, roof up to sunroof, side mirrors, rear bumper right behind the trunk lid, and thin strips behind the front and rear wheels in order to mount the mud flaps without scratching the paint.
This is the third BMW that Julius has wrapped for me. As the daily driver, I want it protected against all the winter crap out here in OH. |

Pre-cut vs. custom?

As far as cost, it wasn't as much as you may think. This is the third car that he has done for me, so I get a little break. |

WoW! Your car looks GREAT! I noticed your man Julius has a syringe tucked ontop of his right ear. Is that how he gets the air bubbles out of the 3M plastic wrap?
All of the DIY videos I have seen on YouTube say just to keep working the bubbles out. They say NOT to use a needle. So what gives? I bought the factory precut kit for my car. As soon as the weather warms up and I get up enough courage, I will attempt the install. Interesting enough the factory kit doe NOT incluse any mirrors. Does anyone know where I can buy a few feet of this 3M film from? Thanks, David |
