Car Cover for the 135i
Hello guys!
I'm a new member & my car is being build right now. Since I don't have a garage to park my new car, I was planning to buy a car cover. Any good car cover that you guys could recommend me? Is the Roll Up Car Cover any good? Thanks Guys!!! |

I think the OEM BMW car cover is kind of pricey. I saw the you tube video on the Roll Up car cover. Is very convenience but I don't know if it is any good?

Thanks for the link for the carscover.com, I think that is the best because is 5 layers & free shipping & no sale tax. OEM BMW only 3 layers and eventhough the Roll Up car cover is convenience but is probably very thin so is easy to roll up. Thanks again grish!

With the 20% off, bringing $175 down to $140, I'd get the BMW cover right now... but I do not see any coupons or discounts available.

FYI. I also Have/had (Its just sitting in my mothers garage) the BMW cover. The quality is good and no headaches putting it on..However!!! I do not use it anymore. Its been briefly discussed here before, but this is why I dont use it. Think about if your car is dirty. You inevitably will have to put this car cover on a dirty car, and you will drag it across the entire body. Next thing you know your paint will have micro scratches in it. I also have no garage and park under a tree most of the time. I am fairly anal about my car and keeping it clean. I decided it was easier to just let it get dirty and wash it than it would be getting all the scratches in the car..The only way I would use the cover is if the car is 100 percent clean as well as the cover. Then again I would only use it to store the car at this point. Just my two cents from someone who used one.

It'll probably weather the snow much better covered. P.S. If you don't use the cover anymore I can take it off your hands.

IMO, the best protection for your car is proper paint and convertible top care. Put a good sealant on your paint, and dress the convertible top with a good waterproof, UV-blocking treatment. A car cover is just going to wreck you paint if you put it on a dirty car.
