Alot of 335i guys have it on their cars without any issues. I know there is some post around here that he did in black chrome where he replaced the tips and it looks very clean. It is a nice alternative than spending 3k on a muffler.

All four muffler tips on our cars are attached to the muffler with rivets, so one should be able to take them off without much effort. After that, you can either paint them or get ones with different styles.

Cyba doesn't have any Exhaust Tips for M3, You should purchase from company like Remus, Cyba or others then do self modification.

I've inquired about this myself. I think your best bet is to go to a custom exhaust shop and see if they can modify some existing tips to work or custom make some. I will do this and post up a thread when I'm done.

If your'e handy and you take the muffler section off, it is very simple to remove the tips, they are just riveted in to the muffler with 4 rivets a piece. Drill these out with the right size drill and voila! I coated mine Satin Black, but you could take them to any powdercoating or chrome shop. the possibilities are endless.

I was looking for a different shape. What I want is slightly longer, larger diameter and thinner walls.

lots of E46 M3 guys used these with great results. Don't see why it wouldn't work with the E92

Gintani uses a slightly 91mm? larger, single wall, staggered look that I personally like. You could drill the rivit, remove the stock tips and then create a bushing for the larger pipe and rivit or weld the larger diameter pipe to the stock exhaust pipe.

What is the diameter of the pipes coming out of the exhaust without the tips on?

I did exactly that in my old E46 M3; it is the same, exact OEM exhaust tips configuration:
