Up for grabs is our Quaife Final Drive LSD with the more desirable 3.46 ratio. This is a complete final drive unit that you will simply swap into your car. There is no core charge or downtime. Hang on to your stock diff or else you are in for some major hassles down the road!

This diff has less than 4K miles on it and was built using an extremely low mileage core w/ 1500 miles (documented). This unit has given us zero issues and is the perfect addition to the car that is used on the street and sees weekend track time.

Includes the following:

-Quaife LSD w/ 3.46 final drive (aka pumpkin)
-A fresh drain & fill w/ Redline Gear Oil
-BMW diff removal/install tool by AR Design
-Shipping within the 48 states
-Will provide phone technical support to the buyer for the install

Why do you say this? It has me a bit concerned because I don't have my original anymore.

If you decide to sell your car you'll have to find a stock diff to replace you LSD with. Or just give the LSD to the new buyer if you're okay with that.

If that's the only reason, then I'm not worried. I have no plans to sell the car. Berk, did you mean anything else by this?

The Quaife is great for drag racing and almost all track racing. My 135i Steptronic with this LSD cuts 1.55 60' with only 17" Hoosier DRs. $3k is a good price considering you only have to swap out the whole pumpkin unit and go! Even if you have the early Steptronic automatic with the bolted ring and pinion, you still have to pay a shop to install the $1,600 LSD Quaife unit into your stock dif. However, most have the welded R&P now, and need the entire complete unit.
