Car vandalized, need new side mirror

Hello everyone, yep, I need a new drivers side mirror. Someone drop kicked it over Christmas break. Not only that, they dented the side door pretty good around the window. Actually looks like someone tried to kick the window out.

Fortunately I think I can get the dents taken out by Dent Wizard or Dent Doctor, but the mirror is another story.

Anyone know a good place to buy a used part like that? Thanks.

If you can't find it used, try tischer BMW. getbmwparts.com

They usually have oem parts for cheaper. Good luck.

sorry to hear! dont hesitate going through insurance (take the bullet on deductible) they wont raise your premium

Thanks for the feedback guys. Do you know if 2003-2008 door mirrors are all the same. Car-parts shows a black one for $125 for a 2003.

Does someone offer the full mirror assembly in CF? I mean, this thing is snapped so I think I'm going to need a full one. Luckily it didn't crack any plastic, just the metal (hard plastic?) piece that connects it to the door. I'm actually going to try Rhino Glue, I figure it can't hurt, but I doubt it will work.

What color is your car as I have an extra Titanium Silver mirror that I would be willing to let go. It is just the mirror assembly with no mirror glass. PM me if interested or if you have any questions.

With a small stroke of "luck" this website pointed me to a full black drivers side mirror assembly for $125. Someone drop kicked my car and it will end up costing me a few hundred dollars to get it back to the way I want it and somehow I feel like I won by finding that mirror. That's a positive outlook for ya. Of course, when it gets here it will probably be blue instead of black and for an S4 instead of a Z4, but I'm trying to stay positive.

No worries. It's white but painting that small a part will be inexpensive.

Yeah, actually the case comes off so the color really isn't as much of a factor as I originally thought as I could've used my own.
