FS: Valentine One Radar 1.8 Full Kit - Latest Firmware

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
This is version 1.8 and includes POP2 & Euro - it is their latest unit out there. I'm actually going to send the unit in V1 to get recalibrated, the cost of doing so is $45 but this will ensure it does in fact perform as if it were new.

Brand new retails for $399, plus shipping via Ground gets you at $412. I'm asking $375 shipped to anywhere in 48 states. You are basically getting a new unit at discount. I will also include the invoice from V1 proving it was sent in.

Also included: visor mount, windshield mount, lighter adapter, coiled power cord, straight power cord, direct-wire power adapter, wiring-harness connector and original Box

I believe V1 quoted me a 7 day turnaround time so I will send right back out the day I receive it. Check my iTrader feedback.

RD.net is pretty strict on what you can post, and I think FS ads are not permitted =T

What's POP2 and Euro? Is it updated software into the unit? I've thinking about a Valentine (it's the only brand I would consider).

What's the difference between the direct-wire power adapter and wiring-harness adapter? Are you talking about the power that can connect to the back of my auto-dim mirror and is a phone jack on the other end that plugs into the V1?

Sorry for newb questions. I don't know crap about radar detectors, other than V1 is the way to go.

Yes, it's their latest software. Agree, V1 is probably one of the best, although I have the Escort 9500ix in my daily and that's great as well. But I keep the V1 in the Z4 as I need maximum range =)

Correct, direct-wire let's you bypass the cig lighter and connect directly into your car electronics for a cleaner install. Although instead of the auto-dim mirror, most will either access the dome light or wire it down the A-pillar and access the fuse panel.

Do it Santov! I can meet up with you locally and show you how I wired mine (if you end up needing help with the DIY that is). It's pretty straightforward. Just need to tap to accessory power. The wiring might be different for our cars, but double check on that. There are several choices typically on which colored wire to tap =]
