FS: set of Conti ExtremeContact DW tires
For sale are complete set of Continental ExtremeContact DW tires in the OE sizes. 2 x 225/45 18 and 2 x 255/40 18. They have ~1000 miles on them and are great; my brother runs these tires on his E90 M3. I don't need them anymore now that I have moved up to 19" wheels. Tires only, no wheels or TPMS. I prefer local pickup (SE Michigan) since shipping will be expensive but I will get a shipping quote if the buyer is serious and not trying to jerk me around. I'm willing to travel up to 75 miles to meet the buyer halfway. $600 for a set of nearly new tires for your Z4.

They are made in Portugal. Nothing on the tires about any production dates. Why would a production date matter???

The DOT production date should be a four digit numer imprinted in an oval such as 2610. First two numbers are the week and last are the year. It is important as some folks log very low miles and tires shelf life before they wear out.

^there should be four digits in a capsule-looking logo on the tire sidewalls that will read, for example, '0610', meaning the tires were made during the 6th week of the year 2010. generally, tires have a lifespan of about six years from production date.

The front tires have 1309 as their production date. Rears are 0909. Hope this clears up any questions.

Production dates are important because old tires (6+ years) have a higher chance of tread separation. Good luck with sale.
