Got Euro plates?

Anyone using them in NJ get hassled by cops? I'm thinking of getting them to alleviate my hatred of my front plate.

Don't have euro plates, but I decided to get bumper plugs and completely removed front plate. Have driven past many cops...so far so good. Just incase I get a hassle, I have an invoice from the dealer showing that I have paid for the plate bracket, but it is on back order from Germany.

I made sure my dealer did no such thing when they asked about putting the front plate on. I am yet to get hassled by any cop about my front plate and i am constantly driving through bergen, essex and passaic county.

I have no front plate and have been hassled a few times in Bergen County. Also, I remember reading years ago on this forum that having a europlate is not a replacement for a NJ registered license plate. They can still give you a ticket because the front plate needs to be the NJ plate.

Drove around with Euro plates both front and rear for like 2 months while I waited for NY Reg to arrive in the mail after getting the car back from E.D.

Im in NY and was pulled over today because the cop seen my euro front plate.

He said the plate is not from this country.

I told him your wrong, check the plate it has the same tag and NY state logo on the side.

He said your right, but that wasn't issued by Albany.

I said I know, I was at a car show last week and put it on for the show. (total bs)

He just let me go
