Same day, same event but through Gerry Low and for cheaper than the Trillium event.
I am getting my alignment Monday morning. If things go well and my mechanic gives me a go ahead I will buy a helmet and sign up. Below is the email message from Gerry regarding the event. Sunday, June 3rd is the next intensive training day at Mosport’s DDT. Generous exercise area, large skidpad, and technical track make this venue ideal to explore the edge of grip. This day will be of benefit to all levels of drivers. Novice drivers will be provided with a classroom session outlining ideal seating position, vision, braking, and vehicle dynamics followed immediately with supportive exercises. Experienced drivers will review, discuss, and practise advanced driving techniques like visual vectoring, multi-input steering, G. loading, trail-braking, heel & toe shifting, etc. Cost is $295 (pre-registered by interac), $350 at the gate, all plus HST. Time is from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Coffee and water provided. Please bring your own lunch. No formal inspection necessary. You should consider changing the brake fluid and checking depth of brake pads. Either a SA or M Snell rated helmet would be good. Let me know if you need to buy or want to borrow. Excellent day of instruction. Re the on-track portion, an instructor will be in-car to start. Up to you and him if you want to drive by yourself. |

My wife & I do a few days a year at the track with Gerry, can't say enough good things about the driving events he run, very good, very safe, very fun. You won't be disappointed.
