New Custom Meth Install
Hearing about Vinney's new meth tank has motivated me to finally hook up my new meth tank that I had made for the boot.
I didn't necessarily need it to be hidden, but still wanted to be able to use my boot, so had it made to fit in the side. Holds about 15L / 4 gallon, so hopefully wont have to fill up as often! Also wanted to make the install as clean as possible, so made a bracket to have the solenoid attached to the power steering pump bracket, and cut a hole so the hose feeds directly to the nozzle. The black nozzle holder was sourced from Devil's Own, and fits perfectly with the -4AN hose and fittings. With all the horror stories about meth tanks leaking, I also decided to get rid of the push in connectors, and use Speedflow screw in fittings and their 200 series teflon braided hose. Probably went overboard, but decided spending $600 on a tank, and $300 on hose and fittings was cheaper than having a meth fire! Here are the pics...

Looks fantastic Michael. Very clean!
Are you getting any air in the line? Is it spraying properly? Btw, thanks for your help with the fittings. Still haven't finalised what I'm going to order because I haven't decided how to set up my pump yet. |

Can you post more photos of how you mounted the pump? What kind of bracket did you use and how did you fix it without removing the battery? Looks great

Thanks guys, feel a lot more comfortable with this setup. Took a while to work out all the parts needed, but happy with the result
Vinney, I used the bracket the pump came with. Easiest way to attach it without removing the battery is drilling from the other side. If you remove the diffuser, you have direct access to the plastic battery tray.

Looks awesome Michael. Very well done. 15L is a great capacity tank. Good to see it's all finally finished. I thought your custom meth build was gonna take longer than Vinney's.
