I need a jack!

I have a flat tire and the car is too low to get my floor jack under the front jack pad. Any ideas where I could get a BMW jack without resorting to German BMW dealer prices?

A $47,000 car with no jack.

I just KNEW this would bite me in the ass one day...

Why not call BMW's pannenhilfe service?

It's free too! (for the first two years, and even after that, you get 30 mins free - for them to come and look at your car). They will come and change your tire or read fault codes for what ever reason. Its a good number to have on hand.

You just need to drive over a brick or some wooden boards... to have the car sit higher so your floor jack can slide under the car. Or hop the German low curb... and then slide your floor jack under the car.

If I had something to run over I would... I'm going to try to scavenge something from the construction site at the WAAF tomorrow.
For those who don't know me: I have bad luck with cars. Not sure why I love them so much, the only seem to bring me pain...

You don't have a low profile jack?? I know they sell them through Harbor Freight, and they ship to APO's.

Just a thought.

I never needed one. Even my lowered WRX didn't require a low-profile floor jack.

Not that tomorrow night would help much if this is your only car but I can bring my low profile jack to work tomorrow and give it to the bus driver that takes the Wiesbaden folks home everyday at 1630-1700....would that work for you? tomorrow evening?
