WTB: Resonated Midpipes
WTB some resonated midpipes to go with my new CPE axle-back. I don't really have a strong preference on brand (I'd even take the N55 mids). The only main requirement is that they have a resonators and no secondary cats (duh). Maddad, CP-E, Berk, etc. are all good. |

I was thinking of going that route, but I thought I might be able to get something a little nicer (maddad, cpe, etc) for a similar price used off someone on here. Otherwise, that's probably the route I will be going. Thanks!

I should have said used not new for the axle-back. I actually bought it off a forum member on here. I like the sound, but I'd like it to be a bit louder (hence the midpipes). I think you can find the axle-back on burgertuning.com for $700 though.

I am willing to sell my Maddad Midpipes if you want to buy them.
They are similar to the Berk as they are both resonated. I have them uninstalled at the moment until I get back from BMW Service. I am in talks with a muffler shop and planning on doing a full custom exhaust soon. If no one wants the midpipes and the shop quotes me more than I want to pay, I'll just reinstall the mids. The Maddad mids give a nice low-growl. It may be placebo, but the mids + the AR catless downpipes remove the drone the OEM system has on the 1M.

As long as the mids for the M1 are the same as those on the 135i, then I am probably down. What are you thinking price wise?

I can do $400 for pick up. I'm currently in Sacramento but I am in San Francisco during weekdays. The midpipes fit the N54 and N55. It will fit the 135i, 1M.

I'm in Sonoma County. About 45 min away from SF. My sister lives in the city though, so she could probably pick them up for me. I'll let you know on Monday. I'm tight on money right now, as I just dropped $1k on rims. (the life of a college student

I was supposed to go to an exhaust shop today but didn't make it in time due to NorCal (I-80) traffic. I'll need to see about going another day.

Darn, well if you know any other 1M's who have upgraded their exhausts keep me in mind Not about to spend bank on the Akra(which is what I really want) without seeing if this mod will work first.
