M5 wheel and snow tires
Plan to buy the oem 19 in 408m wheel and tire assembly from the bmw accessories website. Is $3000 a good price for 4 corners? For those that got it last year, which dealer gave the best price?
I'm afraid of tire installers because they usually fuk up the rims; independents and dealers alike. What have you done to deal with this? Picking up the m5 in 7 hours from the Welt. Thx. |

I bought the wheels from Tischer BMW online. Bought the tpms from pyspeed. Bought the tires local and had them mounted and balanced without incident. I think the total for wheels tires and tpms mounted and balanced was around $3500. I went with sottozeros

I bought the entire package of 408s with TPS and Sottozero from local BMW dealer. Paid $3400 drive out if I remember correctly. Also, this is a good setup. First thing I noticed was how much they improved ride quality over the stock 20s.

I bought the OEM 19" M5 wheels and went with the Sottozeros in the OEM 19" sizing and was very happy with the results. YMMV though as you might get too much snow for the Sottozeros in Tahoe.
