Nice one.

Not in front of my PC but try right clicking Esys.exe and change compat option for high DPI.

Sounds like you have the high res issue.

Ncd tool is pretty much useless with later istep, except for fa stuff
Figured out the button thing. Changed the laptop resolution to 1360x768 (from native unreadable 1920x1080). This works better than native and 150% font scaling. Requires Windows reboot after resolution change before E-Sys cleans up. LauncherPro high DPI setting fails with an error on this machine.

So what do you use to compare stock vs modified coding files?

Can we code the air suspension to ride at lower levels?
I have seen the codes that change each of the driving mode levels, but haven't experimented. I also have another one that looks like it is supposed to define the normal level which is level 3. Since level 3 is the default in my G07, I believe that means the "normal level when the car is shut off." The other option is called default which is zero. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work to "lower the car when turned off".

Hello
E-sys could not find any items related to vehicle height.

But, ISTA + 's “Ride height adjutment” also provided information that could be lowered.

I also tried, but the item name was masked.
Also, since it is not G05 and G05 has an adjustment level,
I don't know which position is used to set the adjustment value.

Managed to check my W10 VM, and my display is set to 3360x2100 with 200% scaling and it displays OK. I don't actually have the high-DPI fix set on 3.33.4. There is a high-res fix checkbox in Launcher Pro settings if that helps, but sounds like you have a workaround you are happy with.

It's difficult without a mapped ncd tool.

My workaround to compare sets of ncd files is:
1) generate a set of baseline settings for the stock FA (see process below) in one folder
2) modify the FA with the required change e.g. add 5AR, and generate settings in another folder
3) compare the resultant set of ncd files using a tool such as WinMerge and identify which cafd/ecu's require changes
4) open each of the impacted baseline ncd in FDL Editor and Save As .fwl to convert them to human readable text
5) repeat the process for the changed FA ncd
6) compare the fwl folders, again using winmerge, and see what the code settings are

Process to generate ncd based on FA. Assumption is you have a taken a backup of your SVT:
1) In e-sys choose Coding-Verification section
2) Load chosen FA - baseline/modified
3) Browse to your SVT from 'Verification by SVT' section
4) configure a folder for the Trace Directory, tick checkbox for NCD-Trace
5) Click on 'Start Complete Verification'
6) Move the resultant ncd files to a new folder named Stock_FA, or Stock_plus_5AR etc

To compare supplied ncd files e.g. from one car to another, you can modify the process so you just jump in at step 3 of the first instructions

INSZ_EHC_NORMAL_NIVEAU_Default is the default for all models except G05/G07, which I guess basically means fixed suspension level.

INSZ_EHC_NORMAL_NIVEAU_3 is the coded default for G05/G07. In theory you would think changing this to 2 or 4 would lower or raise the car at ignition but it does not. I guess the car is using other calculations to determine what mode to use i.e. if you are in adaptive/eco/comfort mode then set level to 3. If in sport mode set level to 2, etc.

Slightly off-topic, I am having some issues with Launcher Pro and E-Sys and am wondering if someone is able to assist (until I hear back from TokenMaster).
I have the following:
Launcher Pro: v3.5.1.261
E-Sys: v3.33.4
PSdZdata: v4.19.30

Issues:
1. Two days ago, whilst starting LauncherPro (in static mode), I got prompted to logon again with Authenticator Code. Since then, I can only start E-Sys in Dynamic mode. Static Mode does not work anymore.
2. When I open a NCD file in Editor, I cannot see any comments, where as previously, I used to see comments. I still get the mapped paramter names and values (but no Komment field). Also, the Editor Filter only displays two options: Default Values and Paramter. I am sure previously there was another option.
3. Sometime, it takes a very long time to load the NCD files (up tp 8-10 minutes).
4. Occaisonnaly after some use, when I load an NCD file, i do not get any values just blanks and commas.

Any assistance in resolving these issues would be much appreciated.

I'd start by uninstalling esys, and deleting/renaming the data folder.

Probably fix your issues.

Not sure on activation, one for TM

I experienced that when I moved from a VM to Bootcamp. I ended up re-installing E-Sys and Launcher Pro. That fixed it for me.

The vehicle height could not be adjusted with ista's “ride height adjustment”.

If you entered the height with "ride height adjustment", the vehicle height would be higher than before the adjustment and could not be restored.

After that, even if the value was subtracted or changed on the same screen, it was not changed.
However, I did not know how to reset to the original settings.

It seems that I entered "Transeport Mode" sometime again. (This was canceled.)

The auto lane change settings are for regions where its not supported such as the UK. No use on a USA car.

question on speedlock settings; I have coded this:

Ability to view text messages, control messages and Widget setup screen whilest in motion (up to 63km/hr only), the following codes are in (3E53 - HU_MGU)
SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MIN - set wrete value to 1F
SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MAX - set wrete value to 3F
SERVICES_MESSAGES_SPEEDLOC_CONDITION - set to none
SPEEDLOCK_CAR_STANDSTILL - set to none
SPEEDLOCK_TEXT_LENGTH - set to whole_text

works fine, but it conflicts with VIM regarding the settings in SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MAX and MIN, where VIM needs that set at none and werte 00, if I am not mistaken. so, do I have to choose between one or the other or is there a way?
Thanks

Hi All,

I have developed some cheat codes for my G07 which should work for G05 for the most part.

If someone is willing to test and get back to me that would be great.

Here is a link to the post.

[CODING] G07 E-Sys Cheat Codes https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1636904

And a link to the cheat codes:
https://github.com/packetpilot/bmw-f/blob/master/cheats/jokinawa.xml

I am still working on them and will have some updates soon. Cheers!
Hello, I am wondering if anyone on here has the latest full psdz files to use with Esys. I am doing a retrofit of the Professional RSE into my X5, but need the latest files to update the firmware in the RSE Fond player that I purchased.

Thanks for the help

Anyone aware of coding the auto stop/start memory to include the ECO modes? Have it coded but as soon as I go to ECO mode the ASS is active again, until going back to a non ECO mode, where it'll be wherever I left it (disabled of course)

A couple questions I have:

1. I would need to buy OBDLink MX+ as the Carly I have is not going to run code?
2. Can most of these code mods be done via Bimmercode now vs. e-sys route?
3. Is there a bimmercode guide somewhere that translates the “expert mode”?

Thanks!

1. Yes, not necessarily OBDLink, there are other options but Carly adaptor isn't one of them. I have the OBDLink MX+ and works like a champ
2. Not quite. A few things can be coded right now for the G05 and I'm sure as time passes more will be available, but you'll have a lot more freedom with esys or esysx. See BimmerCode website for supported codes.
3. Not that I know of, however, as I understand it, IF the ECU is supported in expert mode you can do the same to it as esys, so any coding settings would be the same.

I use the OBDLink LX and it also works like a top with bimmercode and was a bit cheaper ($35 on sale on Amazon) - is it is Android only though, you have to get the MX+ if you want to use an iphone.

Anyone have a link to the ISTA + newest version with the integrated ISTA P. I am looking to upgrade my X5, my dealer is playing hard to get, they state that I have the newest version of the software, but I am on .39.

Thanks in advance

How do I generate this XML myself? Is it in E-Sys?
