I just followed his instructions and used his parameters. It closes kinda like a soft close door i had on my f15 now.

You will find the parameter settings in expert mode, i think there are only 6 sets of hex numbers that you need to change.
You change the hex on 3011 (top tailgate) and 3072 (botton tailgate). Ill take some screenshots for you later if needed.

alabesky wroteThanks for the clarification.I followed the instructions thatTheNine90 posted in this thread, the last two sets of parameters are his settings which works perfectly!

So it should be same method. However the values are diffrent. You can multiply the pwm parameters by a constant like 0.25 or 0.5 then modify the posplg values.
For those of us that had adjusted the threshold knobs on the sides of the hatch to eliminate the hatch rattles, you might have to make a single adjustment to account for the extra force required to close the hatch properly:
ProfileCloseStartNode1PwmPlg = wert00,XX
where XX = 40 to 45 (as in wert00,41)
I had originally used wert00,3E (as per TheNine90's code) but the hatch did not lock fully and left a gap, then it opened right back up. I changed to wert00,41 and it closes and locks perfectly.
If you want to make it a bit softer, change ProfileCloseStopNode1PwmPlg = wert00,YY
where YY = 8C to 96
IFlyX5 wroteThank you - this is exactly what I was looking for as mine wouldn’t lock fully and open about a quarter way back as if it was detecting an obstruction. It’s because I put felt tape on those metal guides sticking of the hatch since adjusting the bump stops didn’t help with rattle. So, I assume more force is needed for the tailgate to close to overcome the friction from the felt tape. I’ll try to your suggestion and report back.Thank youTheNine90 for the soft-close code! It works great (but I had to make 1 minor adjustment for the upper liftgate).

TheNine90's value is wert00,3E and the default value is wert00,FA so you have plenty of room to go.Thank you - this is exactly what I was looking for as mine wouldn’t lock fully and open about a quarter way back as if it was detecting an obstruction. For example code ProfileCloseStartNode1PwmPlg Werte=00, 3E
But I can't find that "Werte" string. Here is what I see: https://imgur.com/a/pXeGTSO

Having some problems how to use the custom values in Bimmer Code.
ProfileCloseStartNode1PwmPlg Werte=00, 3E
So in custom value the first line is Byte 0 0x00
The second line is Byte1 is that the box to be changed to 3E?

IFlyX5 wroteI appreciate you letting me know; I was getting lost and had to restore with back-ups. The soft close works perfect and I truly hope Bimmercode makes this a standard front page code.Yes
TheNine90 wroteThank you TheNine90 very much for showing the code for us G05 drivers. I think you are the only one that posted this information for the G05.Bimmercode HKFM tailgate module, go to expert mode look for the code and apply them
