I am shopping for a 2026 X5 xDrive40i and wanted to do a custom order so I can select the options and color. Is there any dealer in the southeast that will accept a custom order at 10% off MSRP or is it too late in the production cycle? Thank you for your help. Excited to purchase my first BMW!

If I was going for a 2026 x5, when is the latest to put in an order? My lease is up early Aug although I am flexible
Are %'s off better later in the game than currently (as stated by people here) due to the model facelift and if so are the best deals on a custom order or in stock vehicles? If timing isn't right another X3 may be plan B

Did you get the tint and PPF performed at an independent shop?

We dropped if off about 3:00 on our delivery day and it was ready at 5:00 the next day. Front PPF, rocker panels, door edges and tint all around to include windshield. Very happy with the work and 2/3 the cost of Maryland.
The Hotel Hartness which is one of the two hotels aligned with the PC is great - pick you up at the airport in an X5, the on site restaurant is very good.

While the performance center delivery part is cool, I really liked touring the plant. I saw the X3 side, pretty amazing.

Also, just my opinion but if you're only driving it in the South I'd do an Sdrive.
brandofo wroteI just did full PPF, Halo ceramic and 2 front windows tinted at Atlanta Ceramic in Alpharetta. These guys are the best. Feel free to check out there work on mine. Timmer-Bimmer wroteThat $11,000 number makes no sense based on what I paid but OK.Extreme Auto Spa quoted me $11,000 for full PPF and Ceramic. I was able to get it done locally for $7600 (which included window tint).
FrederickMD wroteI agree. They quoted the full amount for paint correction for PPF, but then quoted the full amount for paint correction for the ceramic coating on top of the PPF. It made no sense, so I called , and the manager explained that ??That?s how we do it. Our quote is correct.??That $11,000 number makes no sense based on what I paid but OK.
LDT wroteUnfortunately, there is zero ROI on either. The preowned sales manager at our local Porsche dealership advised me to no longer put either on my 911s, especially if I do not intend to keep the vehicles long-term.When I buy I do full ceramic and front PPF. When I lease no additive stuff. I drive it for 36 mo. and turn it in. After all it's a rental of sorts.
I personally feel that on a vehicle that is going to see a lot of highway use it is worth every penny.

SCA wroteLooks like most of the "good" deals have been in the 9% - 11% range for orders with 10% being the most common. What is currently the max that individuals are seeing discounted off MSRP for a priority one (customer order) these days? I am inquiring for a neighborhood friend. I achieved 10% off in late 2025 for a P1. I would suspect as EOP (end of production) for the G05 approaches that the percentage discounted is possibly increasing?
