M60i. I knew I could have gotten cheaper but I was ordering from ind anyway for the reflectors. I’m happy to support them especially after they helped out with fast shipping.
Understand. Wow what a great ride you got there!! Dravit is amazing and with those black wheels and Msport/Pro and all the options you got one heck of a machine.
How much ppf you having installed? Enjoy!!

Thank you! I went a little crazy and spoiled myself with this car. I went conservative on my last two cars (MDX and XC60) and splurged on this one. Most importantly, the wife loves it.

I’ve been back and forth on ppf and a few weeks ago, I wasn’t going to do it (just do ceramic coating). But I started thinking more about it last week and think I will regret not doing a full front ppf. It’s just too nice of a car to not protect. I plan to have it 4+ years, so want to ensure it’s protected. So the plan is to do a full front ppf (hood, bumper, grill, front fenders, mirrors). Might add the rocker panels but I’m still undecided on that.

Def do the rockers. They take a beating with all the debris the 22"s kick up. Strange I did a full vehicle ppf but they didn't do the grills. I would minimize the heat in FL as much as you can w that leather dash. Heat tends to shrink leather a little over time.

Yeah they methoned they could do the grill but it’s just the outside part of the grill. Not the individual vertical slats. I actually didn’t realize it until I got the car today that the outside part of the grill is matte. I thought it was gloss for some reason.

I’m getting tint including the the front windshield. 70% on the windshield to protect the dash but keep visibility at night unaffected.

Sharp looking cars… I really like the blue, but dravit gray in my number 1!

Picked mine up up last Friday and it’s off getting “full frontal +” PPF that includes the front bumper, fenders, hood, a-pillars, front 1/4 of roof, rockers, rear bumper, tailgate, fuel door, door cups, and door handles. Then a ceramic coating to top it off for the painted surfaces, wheels, and windshield.

I agree with others… the rockers are a must IMO to protect against rock and dirt kicked up from the tires, but also getting in and out of the vehicle catching your foot can scuff them easily.

Out of curiosity, what should it cost to have just the front of the X5 PPF put on? Not sure what this may go for? thanks..

I’m sure others will opine more on this. I was quoted $2600 for full front by a shop that uses XPEL. Another shop that does Lumar was $3k. I’m also in HCOL area in Florida so take that for what it’s worth. I know I could get cheaper but you are paying for the installer not the film. You need someone reputable who knows what they are doing and their prices are typically on the higher end. You get what you pay for.

Congrats. Nice looking X5. We are headed to FL today. Bumming around in Sebastian, Sarasota and Tampa.
