paimon.soror wroteThanks brother. You’re set up takes it a step further with the resonator delete. Sounds great, but I want to retain the ability to silence it to stock.https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2223105 - a few videos on here

DGM60i wroteThey shipped mines DHL and I did not pay any import fees.To those that bought this valve controller. Did you have to pay import fees?
X5Mnwi wroteTried sending you a message. Inbox is full. Lmk how you were able to unplug the valves. On my M60i there is very minimal room to get them unplugged via on the ground. Seems like I have to remove the plastic panel covering it.After the 3 weeks I waited for the 11 mode controller to show up, I installed it. Took around 5 minutes as the ass end of the 2026 X5 M60i is closer to the ground than expected so had to do a little squeezing.
I'll run with this for a couple weeks before I see if I need to pull the trigger on an exhaust.
DGM60i wroteThere accessibile without removing anything. It’s tight but it’s doable. Don’t remove anything. Worst case is jack up the car to give yourself more room to access.Tried sending you a message. Inbox is full. Lmk how you were able to unplug the valves. LS.swapped.Isseta wroteAddition mods are required to get the car to be where you want it.I take delivery of my 26 X5 M60i on the 20th. To those with the 11mode valve controller, what’re your opinions on its impact? Does it bring out enough of the V8 or do you feel like you still need additional improvements?
DGM60i wroteI figured so. Considering a valve controller with resonator delete and an x-pipe. I’m not sure if I wanna spring for an aftermarket exhaust just yet lol.Addition mods are required to get the car to be where you want it.
LS.swapped.Isseta wroteI am in the same boat. Trying to figure out the best route for a nice tone without going down a deep rabbit hole.I figured so. Considering a valve controller with resonator delete and an x-pipe. I’m not sure if I wanna spring for an aftermarket exhaust just yet lol.
DGM60i wroteYeah unfortunately there really isn’t any consensus on the best course of action. Have you happened to drive with the pumped in noise off? If so, does the exhaust still pop and gurgle? When I test drove I didn’t even think to turn it off and listenI am in the same boat. Trying to figure out the best route for a nice tone without going down a deep rabbit hole.

DGM60i wroteYikes, what a disappointment. But I guess I’m not the first to think that. Thanks for the help! Those will be gone if you turn off Iconic sound unfortunately
LS.swapped.Isseta wroteI’m going to swap out the secondary DPs for Evolution Racewerkes DPs and see how the sound is. It it doesn’t make much of a difference, I’m going to swap out the midline with the Dinan one.Yikes, what a disappointment. But I guess I’m not the first to think that. Thanks for the help!
