Thanks. This is our first bmw. Hopefully it goes well, haha. We are use to 4runners and Land Cruisers.
The X5 is our first BMW and we are really enjoying it and happy we got it. What dealer did you use? We have been more than satisfied working with CO’s BMW but looking to the future when the lease is up and we are getting another.

Available 12/19 according to pricing guide.
It is available right now according to the latest pricing guide as well as on the Build.

Edit: For the M50i it is only on the Build and not the pricing guide.

Ray what kind of deal did you get? I've been talking to Schomp and want to know what to expect.

There are two reasons off-roaders want 70 series tires or taller (example 85 profile tires!). The first is that 15" or 16" rims are cheap and easy to come by. The second is that the taller profile gives you room to air down the tires when you need extra floatation (traction). Which makes "real off-road" SUV's with 50's or less seem ridiculous since there is no room to air down. Low profile tires and RFT tires really have little or nothing to gain by airing down.
While this is true 60 and 70 profile tires are nowhere near extreme off-road profiles. I grew up in an area with half a year of snow cover and I lived several years in Africa where tarmac was not that common. In both places my BMWs came with 60 to 70 profile tires standard and I would not have wanted anything less. Above 70 I agree that we reach off-road/air down territory but the X5 20s are 45 profiles and in another postal code and can't be regarded tough SUV tires and they are to be considered rather fragile on bad roads.
I thought I read somewhere you can get 19" tires on the X5 but I don't see that option in the configurator. Are those available? Would they bring us out of the territory of low profile?

You have to be in the Xline trim level to get the 19" wheels, I believe.

Yes I see it for X5 now. However it's not available for X6!

Hello all,
First post ever. I am wondering if anyone on the forum has dealt with any Chicagoland dealers. I have been coming up with only about 7% off MSRP. Should I keep looking in the area or do I need to go outside and have it delivered?
Looking to buy in the next day.
Thanks!

Hi All
I just placed deposit to secure an X5 M50i. I should get the car by end of this month! I used to drive an M2C and this Suv offers also great driving pleasure.

Congratulations, hopefully the wait isn't too bad. Good luck, enjoy and be safe.

Does anyone know if the G06's come with floating hubcaps with the 22inch wheels? I didn't know if I need to start searching for them to have them ready for delivery.
