Super pleasedwrussell1992 wroteDo you have any photos you'd be willing to share? I'm considering this and also have arctic grey! Thanks!I also have one coming from RG - will share some pics once its installed (Artic Grey m50i)

Makes the 45e look perfect!
Commanderwiggin wroteLooks awesome!IND had the roof spoiler and mirrors shipped over in less than a week! Packaging was unreal; installed mirror covers and roof spoiler in under 15min.

Wtfitzvi wroteTrying to follow your directions:Picked up my X5M spoiler today from the paint shop.
Very easy to install… just remove the 4 rubber caps, unscrew the 4 torx screws, close trunk, pull back on the oem spoiler, swap clips and install in the reverse order.
1) remove 4 rubber caps - yes, the 4 upper ones, not the 2 lower/outer ones for the gloss black side supports.
2) unscrew 4 torx screws - yes.
3) pull back on oem spolier - pull how? Beyond flexing it won't budge for me when prying with plastic pry tools. I don't see a way to put it back without using some tools...
Thanks!
jBwFellow wroteJust to be clear... the spoiler does not pry off like a hinged lid. If you're standing at the rear of the vehicle, the spoiler will slide back toward you. Refer to the picture in this post https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/showpost.php?p=27149828&postcount=16. You've unscrewed the torx screws from the four "nuts" across the top. The two clips you need to get to release are the white ones pointing toward the top of the picture. Notice their orientation.Trying to follow your directions:

Get the tips of your fingers on one hand inside the gap between the spoiler and the roof. Put your other hand on the other side of the spoiler near the brake light as you try pulling toward you. These clips hold on surprisingly tight, so it may take some force to release them. Go back and forth on either side as you try to work them loose. Always have both hands on the spoiler as you pull because it might come flying off with a loud pop and you have to catch it as you're stumbling backwards off balance.

Installed the new one from IND and very happy with the new look!
njnets21 wroteLove this color. Clean combinationa few shots of this spoiler in lime rock grey
Someone needs to post a picture on what and where they have shaved or put double sided tape.
I did not even look at OE to see if there was a gap
Took delivery of car.....swap when it was home.
Noticed the gap and ended up removing to put tape/reinstall.
It's minor. About 3/16" gap just the length of the taillight
vinibabs wroteYes, you'll be fine.Ultimately from a water seepage/ electronics standpoint—is it fine to leave the gap?
DeYanko wrotesick rims!!!Makes a big difference, after you get it installed!
bsaikit wrotecolor scheme is similar to the M Performance flow-through spoiler on a white X5. can search the forum for the thread. I believe there’s a couple white vehicles posted therehas anyone seen a gloss black X5M spoiler installed on a mineral white body by chance? would love to know what it looks like..
