samvora wroteBoth, there are tutorials for both ESys and ProTools in this forum. Much easier to do it with ProTools.Anyone knows if anti dazzle coding requires FDL coding or just VO coding?

samvora wroteBimmer Utility allows you to read and modify FDL's. But, you still need to install and use E-sys to apply changes to the vehicle.Shawn said that bimmerutility automatically downloads Esys and pairing bimmerutility with psdzdata would enable VO and FDL coding thus removing the need for esys separately to VO code. Anyone tried bimmerutility with psdzdata to do both- VO and FDL?

superkrups20056 wroteYes it is. I have it all coded on mine but have not tested at night yet.Is anti dazzle an option on BimmerUtility for G05’s?
I have been unsuccessful on a couple of attempts. The high beam indicator (blue light) shows that it is on and the lights move with oncoming traffic but as soon as it detects a car approaching from far away it turns off the high beams (but continues to tunnel the low beams for the approaching car).

D10 wroteIt is not possible to fully implement anti-dazzle on Bimmercode. There are some faux implementations around that will get you close.Any instruction doing this on BimmerCode??
TurtleBoy wroteI’d still give it a go if I could do 95% but if it’s a small thing I’d be missing it’d be fine however a main component of software obviously a no go lolIt is not possible to fully implement anti-dazzle on Bimmercode. D10 wroteThis coding here is fairly widely used and seems to work pretty well. It should get you the tunneling and allow the HB's to remain on and not get flashed buy other drivers for blinding them.I’d still give it a go if I could do 95% but if it’s a small thing I’d be missing it’d be fine however a main component of software obviously a no go lol
You may want to try G05_Laser_ECE for LUT_AFS_DRV_HOR since the code below is from someone coding the G20. Obviously you want to use the ECE values and not the US.

FWIW, Canada adopted the EU implementation of the anti-dazzle functionality, so it should be able to be done via the dealer to achieve full functionality.
The US requirements took much longer to be approved, and imposed some requirements that the existing hardware/software appears to not be able to achieve. Maybe with the next X5's replacement. The US requirements seem to mostly be in the response to the system coming around a curve or cresting a hill to be able to mask the oncoming vehicle faster. That would likely require a faster processor and maybe a wider range on the sensors.
D10 wroteDid you get an opportunity to code? How did it turn out?I’ll give it a shot and let you know thanks so much for finding this for me!
starlights wroteI did it the other month in my M340i and it seems to be working fine. Of course it is not the full version (although have not experienced that) that you need VO coding, among other things, but it is working and I haven't been flashed yet for having the high beams stay on.Did you get an opportunity to code? Almaretto wroteNot completely true. The PC version does, the IOS verision does not.Bimmer Utility allows you to read and modify FDL's. But, you still need to install and use E-sys to apply changes to the vehicle.

AGONXF30 wroteNo, not at all. The issue is that you can't enable the full feature Anti-Dazzle using bimmercode since VO needs to be used and there are ECUs that Bimmercode does not have access to. You were insisting that you did but finally after overwhelming evidence and various people telling you that you were wrong did you give up.Didn’t you argue with me that it didn’t work over a year ago when I coded with BC?
