Thank you for the information. I will definitely give the Tyler dealership a call. Don't mind driving a two hours to save thousands.
Exactly! Much closer than the Houston drive I was going to make...but either way, worth the savings. It did take some effort to get them there (9%)...we went back and forth several times.

I wonder if economic fears tied to the different geopolitical conflicts with Israel/Palestine/Iran, will force dealers to offer better deals.

What’s the most % off a 50e order have people gotten lately?

Given that allocations have been basically non-existent, if anyone has been able to order they were MSRP or maybe a couple % off.

These discounts are amazing considering I was glad to pay MSRP and no dealer additional markup when I purchased my 2022 M Sport new in ‘22.
Are Florida dealerships discounting too because they were really jerks back in 2022.
Loyalty meant nothing.

I've owned three M5's and two X5s since 2016 and all were purchased out of state. I washed my hands of TX dealers years ago. Tired of no discounts and markups on interest rates.

Reach out to Austin at Galleria BMW in MS. I've purchased my last two X5's from him, including a 2024 last month. Worked some great deals and got both delivered to my home in Dallas. I promised him I would not give specifics of our past deals online but trust me when I tell you that he'll work with you.

I think it’s already happening. Just for a 2025 allocation for over 8% dealer credit off of MSRP along with my 4K navy federal credit. Total discount was just over 14% of MSRP on a fairly loaded x5 xdrive 40i. If all goes well, it will be delivered in early July.

Currently it’s a better deal to buy new than used. It’s a very strange market.

wow! did you work with a broker? I know the dealer in my Charlotte area, (Hendrick) is not taking anything off MSRP. I asked him why and said because they have the biggest allocation of dealers in the state??? huh? They do have great service and that's enough for some people. My buddy bought a 2024 40i at MSRP and was super happy with the buying process there.

Good morning, has anyone worked with any dealer in the Miami area and got a good discount from MSRP for a 25 X5 M60i?
04-29-2024
Special ordered a 25 X5 out of Phoenix, loaded and got 7.5% off. Local dealership said MSRP, but if you find a deal, we will match it. WTF, I do the work and you will match it.... don't think so.

Contacted a dealer in Freehold NJ, and it seemed they didn’t want to sell the vehicle. 2 listed on their website ended up already sold, and a 3rd one they quoted me MSRP plus $899 in doc fees.

No broker. We have over 5 dealers within an hour drive in metro DC so that might help. Most dealers look for max profit but there are a good amount that will negotiate if you push hard enough. The sales manager for the car I just bought admitted they are still making money at the price I paid (9.58% in dealer discount + 4K Navy Federal Credit= 14.52% off MSRP. or the would not have sold it. I even got a free set of BMW rubber matts with the deal. X5 had everything except executive and driving assist package.

Stay strong and push on them... If your local dealer is being difficult, expand out to others. It took me several months off and on effort to get the deal I was willing to accept.

Thanks, it seems dealers are unwilling to deal with out of state purchases, I'm not sure why. Is it because they prefer to get you in the showroom to be able to sell you additional services? I even offer to handle the shipping process on my own.

Thank you! He's the first dealer willing to provide a discount. I think I will custom order a vehicle from them and deliver it to the performance center since it's closer to me than Macon GA. QQ, is the $1500 deposit refundable in case of unforeseen events?

Ask him. It depends on state law and the dealer's policy.

I asked and he responded: Deposit applied to purchase or refunded at delivery time.

Sounds like it's not refundable, right?
