SHOCK CLAIM: Formula E founder Alejandro Agag says Toto Wolff is the "main force" behind F1's new electric-heavy engine rules.
👉 Agag suggests Wolff used Mercedes' Formula E knowledge to shape regulations that BENEFIT his team.
Fueling criticism from drivers that F1 is becoming too similar to Formula E.
:mad0260::mad0260:
This is pretty unlikely. MB sold their FE team and got out of FE after the '22 season. The series was so backward in those years ('19-'22) that anything they "learned" has got to be stale tech compared to the series today.
How about a link (so it can be included in the growing list of click-bait, false info sites).

Key Quotes from Alejandro Agag
According to reports from FormulaPassion and MARCA, Agag made several key points regarding Wolff's influence:
On Strategic Influence: Agag described Wolff as the "great inspiration" behind the current F1 direction, alleging a plan to merge concepts from Formula E.
On Competition: He suggested Mercedes brought Formula E concepts to F1, creating a competitive advantage for themselves.
On Future Direction: Agag noted that watching F1 now feels similar to Formula E, with battery management strategies that his series has utilized for years.

BS (!)

You must be kidding . Isn't it ?

In a race car : A racing driver has to be 100% non-stop focused behind his steering wheel on the track and in extreme high speeds .

During the races : The pit strategy and the call to pit is (always)! coming from the pit wall via the onboard radio (!)
All a racing driver can say from behind his steering wheel is : Guys ,my tires are cooked or my tires are gone.
So you’re saying Max is just a driver for his race team and doesn’t have any management duties.

If he is just driving for someone else why even have a team with his name.

Must be for guys like you to buy his gear.

🚨| Toto Wolff pinned as 'main force' behind controversial F1 rules:

— Formula E founder Alejandro Agag has identified Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff as the "main force" behind the introduction of Formula 1's new power unit regulations. Speaking to media, Agag explained:
“When Mercedes left here, it was because they wanted to take what existed in Formula E and bring it into Formula 1.”
— Agag emphasized that Wolff's influence has been pivotal in shaping the current F1 landscape, which now features a 50/50 split between electrical power and internal combustion. He remarked:
“The main force behind what we're seeing in Formula 1 today is Mercedes and Toto Wolff.”
“So Toto was here, he saw what was in place and said, 'I'm going to take this to Formula 1 and effectively combine Formula 1 and Formula E.'”
— Despite acknowledging Wolff's role, Agag expressed concerns about the direction F1 is heading, advocating for a return to more traditional engines. He stated:
“I don't think that's good for Formula 1. The sport should return to more combustion, to V8 engines, to more noise… and leave Formula E as the all-electric championship.”
— The new regulations have sparked controversy among drivers, with Max Verstappen and Lando Norris among those criticizing the changes. The shift towards a more electric-focused F1 has drawn comparisons to Formula E, where Mercedes previously competed successfully.
— Mercedes' departure from Formula E in 2022 marked the end of its three-year stint as a factory team, during which it secured consecutive teams' and drivers' titles. Agag's comments suggest that this exit was strategically aligned with their ambitions in F1.

Christian Hohenadel :

The Mercedes ///AMG team boss Christian Hohenadel said that he is responsible for the 7th tire pit mistake and for the race disqualification.

But let us focus now for the ADAC RAVENOL 24/h of the Nürburgring.

It’s Max Verstappen Racing so it is his team and he should be responsible for the running of the team.

I guess it’s easier to let the AMG guys take the blame.

You have accused Merc and McLaren of cheating for years that was never proven but you once again make excuses when it’s your guy.

Ok I understand now, so he was just driving for AMG and Verstappen Racing is just a website to sell stuff, not a “Racing Team”.

Someone posted on here Max had started a GT3 team, I guess that was incorrect.

Evil Geniuses can accomplish most anything :sigh:

When you think about Formula One has had more than it's share of Machiavellian characters:
Bernie Ecclestone
Max Mosley
Jean-Marie Balestre
Flavio Briatore
Christian Horner
Toto Wolff
Mohammed Ben Sulayem

The FIA is investigating Mercedes' active aerodynamics.
➡️ The wings open and close at different speeds depending on the corner to increase the car's balance during braking.
➡️ This is something that, in principle, is not allowed.

Maybe the front wing responds to the amount of breaking pressure applied ?

Sudden breaking closes fast, slow breaking increasing the pressure gradually closes slower ?
