Is there anything else I should do when fitting the springs like UCAs or bump stops etc...?

r33_RGSport wroteCool cheers.Either one from X5 40i or M50/M60i.
Are they all the same UCA the x5 m40,50 & 60i
GAVB wroteI would assume the differences are just the bushing. Since M50i and M60i is M Light.Cool cheers.

davida77 wroteAny chance you can posts pics of your car with all three of these suspension setups you’ve had? Would love to see them all.If you want a quiet & top quality has kit I would highly recommend to Avoid BOTH MSS & h&r Vtf!!! The amount of issues these 2 kits have caused me in terms of strange noises & sounds is ridiculous . Since going with kw has kit I’ve had absolutely zero issues whatsoever & is a much superior all round has kit with no surprises. I wish I had listened as most of issues are from both MSS & h&r on this forum plus 2 local suspension specialists also warned me to avoid both of these brands for several different reasons. Mss in particular was a heavily flawed kit from day one for example having no shortened bump stops ( as example at full drop on rear it sits on the bump stops), with the recommended full drop on the front it horribly bottoms out with bigger bumps at higher speeds , strange spongy feeling likely from undersprung spring rates , garbage low quality rubber slip mats that cracked/ split in no time , inconsistent lowering , abysmal customer service & ridiculously overpriced it’s no wonder people had so many issues with MSSAs for h&r vtf never mind the awful harsh ride quality they began to make strange noises no time after install & was diagnosed to be horrid spring binding which never went away at all & that’s with a good 10mm gap on the adjusters left so not even at max drop. A lot of time & money wasted but lesson learnt!
I ask because with all the bashing you have done on this topic I’m at the point I don’t believe you’ve had any of them. That or you work in some capacity for KW. Nobody has posted in this thread for months and then yet here you are with another bashing unsolicited. I checked your profile, you have 30 posts, 26 of them bashing lowering springs.
Yes I’m calling you out and giving you the opportunity to prove me wrong.
Tobster3 wroteSame and same!No issues with my MSS. Love them!
BigVegas17 wroteBeautiful!!!Same and same!
BigVegas17 wroteWow that green is amazing. Very happy with my MSS as wellSame and same!
Unfortunately this is the truth to the point that 2 different shops couldn’t sort out the noises on the mss kit I had on a near new X5m . One shop called the kit utter problematic 💩 An overrated & way overpriced kit that simply didn’t match the hype.
