I also have a set of Brembo ceramic pads to install. I hate dirty wheels 😂

jzmundy wroteI did the same and put the brembo ceramics on. I wasn't all that impressed with the amount of brake dust still. Everyone raved on how much less dust there is and some claimed 90% less dust. My guess it's more like 40% less. Hard to measure but certainly not 90%.That’s good to hear because that was also my thinking haha

Car-Addicted wroteI joined BMW CCA last August. Have you found any dealers that give a discount on SERVICE with that membership? Thank you. What did you do to your X5 (G05) today...
Not a damn thing, been in the PPF shop for a week and two more weeks to go.Weird that BMW would call me today and ask me how I was doing with the X5? Same day I got a $1,000.00 check from BMW for being a BMW Club member. Strange
smyles wroteGeez! What's the top side look like????Let local dealer do an oil change, mostly curious if they know how to/can change the filter w/o making a mess.
They don't.
smyles wroteThat's lame. Wow mine is spotless except for dust. I live 100 miles from the nearest dealer, so I simply have my mechanic come to my house to do the oil changes on my cars.Let local dealer do an oil change, mostly curious if they know how to/can change the filter w/o making a mess.

Luftpost wroteThe only time I had an issue was about 10 years ago when we had an E70 X5 35d. With the diesel, you get the DEF topped off with the oil change. There are two DEF tanks under the hood with fill ports on top. The DEF supply bottles have a built-in valve that opens when you push it down on the fill port. Theoretically it prevents spills.I would at the very least contact the head honcho of the service department, show them the photo and get an explanation.
If it were my department, I would want to know and given the opportunity to defend or make it right.

SLE3PER wroteThe perfect 2 car collection. Interested in seeing more mods to the X5First post here in the g05 section. Added the m60i to the garage arsenal along with my g80. This one is for my wife but I get to mod it lol. Got it back from full stealth PPF and XPEL XR+ tint (20% front, 70% rear/back windshield, 50% front windshield). Plan to add lowering links and wheels.
Lebbros wroteIt will be more of aesthetic mods as this is my wife’s daily. If I didn’t have the g80, the X5m would have been considered, but you’re right, it is the perfect two car solution. The perfect 2 car collection. Interested in seeing more mods to the X5

rlesko wroteAny call outs for flushing the brake fluid you care to share.Changed the oil, flushed the brake fluid, replaced the cabin air filters, and refreshed rear windshield wiper. It was interesting that the BMW tech who serviced the car previously did not even change the cabin air filter properly. Lol.
